Hello, my name is Megan Novicki. I am an aspiring photographer from Northern California in the United States of America. I enjoy photographing nature and travel scenes mostly, although I gravitate towards subjects that are weathered and/or abused in some way. I love to find images that resemble painted works, probably because i enjoy painting, but lack the skills and patience to be a painter. At least a this point in my life. Aside from photography I enjoy printmaking and collage.

This weekend...

This weekend I went to Virginia City, Nevada, it was great! VC was definitely a photographer's dream. Virginia City is an old gold rush mining town with some great scenery. It was pretty cold and windy, but the old cemeteries were amazing. They were in a weathered state with lots of old, dead trees with broken stones. Definitely worth the drive.... :) Photos will be up soon :)
